"Old Clinton High School Gym"

After reading the article and you feel so inclined. Pledges and donations may now be accepted for the Old Clinton High School gym, now converted to the Community Recreation Center. The lease is signed and the roof is patched, so we are really moving on. Several activities have already been scheduled, including the practice and home games for St. Mary-of-the-Woods basketball team.

Important Message to All Clinton High School Alumni

The Class of 1968 has been in discussion about a reunion of the classes of the 1960's and a revival of some of the bands back then. I have checked with Bob Burkett with the possibility of using the old high school gym. Anna White is interested in reviving some of the neighborhood bands from back then. No date has been selected. We are thinking possibly in the spring.

We need to get the word out and get a planning committee organized.

The state of Indiana has closed the Ernie Pyle Historic Site in Dana, Indiana. The state has threatened to auction the entire site off and move the artifacts to Indianapolis. A non-for profit 501 (3) c group the Friends of Ernie Pyle are actively trying to save the site and reopen it. Your help is needed!!! They are accepting donations by two means snail mail at this address.
